District 742's long-range technology planning is done in three-year cycles and documented in a Technology Plan. The Technology Plan is submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education in the spring of the school year in which it takes effect. A plan is required for any school district that wishes to be eligible for federal E-rate telecommunications discounts, No Child Left Behind Title II Part D (Enhancing Education Through Technology) funding or Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funding. |
