Thank you to all students, parents, and St. Cloud Area School District 742 staff for your extra efforts in following health and wellness protocol during the H1N1 Influenza and seasonal flu season for this school year. With your help, our District was successful in keeping our student and staff absenteeism to a minimum during this crucial time. Also, our school nurses are to be commended for their exceptional effort of successfully giving a total of 4,106 H1N1 vaccinations to both public and non-public students during the months of November through March. A special thanks to Stearns, Benton, Sherburne counties and the CentraCare Health System for working collaboratively toward wellness for students and staff.
Please continue to practice the "universal precautions": 1) practice good hand hygiene, 2) cover coughs and sneezes, and 3) keep children home if they are sick with influenza like symptoms.
